Twitter has disabled users from retweeting, replying or liking tweets that contain a link to Substack. Users suspect it's because Substack is preparing its own microblogging service to rival Twitter. pcmag.com/news/twitter-disable

@PCMag
I posted this elsewhere and wanted to boost the signal. The shareholders' meeting is May 15 and there is a shareholders' proposal on the agenda:
"5. A stockholder proposal regarding reporting on key-person risk, if properly presented (“Proposal Five”)."
As expected, Management opposes this, because no one is allowed to question #elonmusk 's sanity.
#Tesla #elonmusk
Send me all evidence in support of this proposal, especially evidence from his management of #Twitter

@PCMag Why would anyone want to have anything to do with the eccentric and erratic #Muskrat? Everything he does makes things worse - for himself.

@PCMag
Hopefully as a Mastodon instance ✌️

@PCMag oooh I hope this starts a fight between Elon Musk and folks like Glenn Greenwald, Bari Weiss, Matt Taibbi, etc. 😂 Of course those sycophants will find a way to keep licking billionaire boots, but it would give me a glimmer of joy to see this infighting.

D-Beat And Deadlifts

@PCMag this is just absolutely ridiculous at this point. My #lizardbrain immediately screams #conspiracy, and that there’s some form of #longgame by #Musk, ala #ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia.

@PCMag do I even need to ask “whatever happened to freedom of speech?” Forgot. #muskrat only operate from short term memory😍

@PCMag

There are so many other social media platforms to choose from.

Staying on twitter only fasciliates Elon Musk.

Leaving twitter defenestrates him.

@PCMag After laying off so many from Twitter, it’s only a matter of time before these callously cast-off employees band together and put together competing products. Twitter is still holding due to its early entry into the market and current users, but that may change. In addition to my own Social Media work, I am actively encouraging companies I work with to begin using Mastadon and other competing services. I doubt I’m alone with that.

Spring Breakdown :jo:

@PCMag Here's to BOTH their failures, then. :blobowoevil:

@PCMag it worked to prevent users switching to mastodon in vast majorities, hence why wouldn’t they try to block it upfront?
let’s see, I think Substack is already bigger and easier than mastodon was/is, therefore the threat is bigger

@PCMag How did this guy get so far with such a thin skin?
