If you’re wondering what I’m talking about regarding the new K-Pop/crypto migrants(?) from Twitter, it’s messages like this.

@atomicpoet Yes, it seems to be a "classic" scam, apparently without crypto being involved (they refer to "cash"). Although the "pokado" username makes me think of "Polkadot", a blockchain created by one of the devs behind Ethereum.

All right, I’m just going to report these accounts as spam.

I feel bad for the very real people who are caught up in these “giveaways”.

@atomicpoet people who fall for these posts should not be allowed a computer.

@atomicpoet As premium earner with Instagram: @emilydavis_fxtrader in two weeks I invested $1,700 & got $21,600.

Cyber Yuki

@atomicpoet This sounds like a typical bitcoin scam.

I just don't get how people still fall for these things and boost posts like this.

Drakkar

@atomicpoet This type of email spam is increasing too, as of lately.

@atomicpoet
It is particularly insidious to mix it with KPop because they will regularly have drawings and giveaways of photos and promotional stuff, so the language is similar.

@atomicpoet who does follow such accounts? I don’t get it. Maybe the same kind of people still using Facebook
