@bd perfect! this goes right into my collection of music software I can run on the GameShell. Now I'm off to read the manual 😂

@oleksiy yooo that's so cool haha can't wait to see what you do with it! let me know if you have any questions or if you find some bugs :)

@oleksiy @bd this is super neat! do you have any other recommendations for music software for the gameshell that you like? i have one and would love to make it into a weird sound machine

@palomakop The coolest thing that I found so far, is LittlePiggyTracker. It's kind of like lsdj, but sample based. Here's the forum thread about running it on gs forum.clockworkpi.com/t/little

Oleksiy

@palomakop there's also SamplerBox that is actually preinstalled on it, but isn't accessible from anywhere in the UI. I don't use it a lot, but it was fun to check that GS can handle midi controllers forum.clockworkpi.com/t/midi-c

Oleksiy

@palomakop and of course there are roms that you can run with emulators. lsdj and nanoloop for gb, music 2000 for psx, ikinari musician for nes

@palomakop I also had some success in running a synth called Phase that was designed for the pocket chip, but it's not really useful without full keyboard. maybe it's possible to remap the keys to make some use of it, but i didn't investigate it yet humbletune.com/phase/

@palomakop oh, and there's also this groovebox for pico-8. I didn't try it myself yet, but it should be fun luchak.itch.io/rp8

@bd cool - this looks fun! and I love that you fit a whole tiny keyboard in the UI :)

Bad Diode

@ldx thanks! :) yeah I build the entire UI around the triggers and the piano.
