@pafurijaz I still hesitate to buy @plastisity because I wish for (need) SubD patches out of b3d and/or plasticity.
I assume, the bridge dynamically tessellates to polyMeshes.

@pixelpartner Maybe (for sure) will added Subd support, but I think the inverse is still a thing not possible right now, and yes you are right I think is a mesh tessellation. I sure you know the Add-on to export IGES patched of SubD model from Blender

@pafurijaz I DONT know the IGES Add-On.
Please, please point me to it 🙏

@pafurijaz Found it dsculptor.gumroad.com/l/export !
But my goal is not to export to CAD, but to USD. Even with b3d 3.6alpha I still see no way to properly export SubD to USD. All my tests either create an xform without data or tesselate to a polyMesh on export.

@pafurijaz Final goal would be to have USD with two payload variants: one for smooth rendering using SubD and dispacement shaders, the other for current generation realtime rendering (AR Quick Look) with midRes polyMeshes and normal/bump maps.
To be used in @configxr, my open source project for AR product configuration.
