@pafurijaz I still hesitate to buy @plastisity because I wish for (need) SubD patches out of b3d and/or plasticity. @pixelpartner Maybe (for sure) will added Subd support, but I think the inverse is still a thing not possible right now, and yes you are right I think is a mesh tessellation. I sure you know the Add-on to export IGES patched of SubD model from Blender @pafurijaz Found it https://dsculptor.gumroad.com/l/exportiges ! @pafurijaz Final goal would be to have USD with two payload variants: one for smooth rendering using SubD and dispacement shaders, the other for current generation realtime rendering (AR Quick Look) with midRes polyMeshes and normal/bump maps. |
