Gregory's ServerI respect monogamy I just don't think it's good for the children to be around only two parents. What if they turn out monogamous themselves? Do you encourage your children to be monogamous? What do other kids think about your kid having two parents? I just have concerns.

 @Elizafox to be quite honest between the time many people spend working+the cost of childrearing (financial and personal) this is starting to look like. a real concern.

 @Elizafox I think we should protect children from monogamy until they are old enough to make the decision for themselves. After all, monogamy can lead to depression ("I don't know what to do without you"), dysfunctional social behavior ("we do everything together now") and emotional blackmail ("you are the only one for me"). |
