 Completed Oquonie playthough, found lots of little bugs :>. Will play again later. Moving onto the solar cooking write-up~! (Already started this a few days ago, but need to add more details, do more research, correct text, add drawings + photos etc). 16 comments
@vacuumbeef XD! I'm just doing projects I was planning on doing anyway :P... sharing that I'll do something puts pressure on me to do and try to complete said thing :>.  @rek Yeah, I've experienced that recently too, and I absolutely support it. Sy, not a fan of giant trees (Hakum project). Advanced a lot of the projects in my list today~! Even had time to add a coat of paint over the insulation in the head :>. Pushed a first version for the solar cooking write up just now: And this page which is more specifically about cooking with solar evacuated tubes: Slowly going down my #finishit list :D! Probably not going to finish the eye splice. I must have re-done it 3 times today(4th time total), and it's *still* not perfect. Getting there though. I am finding it difficult to keep the strands from unravelling(taped ends, i twist as I tuck), especially after the second tuck. It is murder on my hands, and I broke the tip of my DIY fid XD... I will practice on small ropes for a little while, and then move back to 12mm (1/2").  @ccohanlon I followed this tutorial, but it doesn't look as good as that lol, I may have made some mistakes. Who knows if i followed it right tho. I knew i wouldn't finish this Hakum comic sequence, but I did advance 6 1/2 pages out of 13... :P... certainly not nothing!  @rek i was wondering if the glass was borosilicate! i have two cups, used for tea, of the same vacuum construction 😊 with some dark interior covering, a lid, and some aluminium as a reflector i bet it could get half-way to steamy inside one of them :3 |
