Is there no way to make an official request to Apple? I mean, Mastodon wasn't created yesterday and has a few users by now and should also be known by two people in the Apple universe.

I remember your toot abot that. But Mastodon is a non profit organisation (gGmbH) now. Is it not easier to register a trade mark in Germany and to extend to a worldwide?
