@garritfra that is awesome. ๐Ÿ˜‚

The headline isn't wrong though. I always wonder the same when I hear people rattling through the list of services they use. And then wonder if I'm the odd man out without even a single streaming subscription.

DELETED

@fedops @garritfra I have 3 subscriptions - Netflix, Spotify and local internet TV provider and I sometimes think it's too much.
And then there comes people who say - watched this series on Disney+, that on Netflix, then watched videos on Youtube Premium and listened to music on Tidal and non-free podcasts on Apple Podcasts.

Of course, every single subscription costs close to nothing, but it quickly builds up in triple digits, if you don't keep track of your spending on subscriptions.

@garritfra we were late to the cord cutting craze, and now we're wondering if we should just go back... The problem is there are shows we like that are only on the streaming services, so they have us hostage... Until those shows end, at least

@garritfra Now we just โ€˜rentโ€™ and nothing belongs to us. That is how they keep us paying to have access to things that we will never own. We canโ€™t give books or Cds or DVDs to people when we are done with them. There is no more second-hand. Just monthly charges that keep piling up. Ugh.
