@DarrenNevares Of course GoFundMe doesn’t provide that data. But many commenters on the GoFundMe page said that they discovered @TexasObserver through the Fediverse, and the publication already acknowledged the impact of the Fediverse.

Well I'm glad they reached their goal and this can be used as proof that there is reach and active engagement on the #Fediverse. I think this could inspire other media to take the plunge.
