@aproposnix When adding your pixelfed profile url to your Mastodon "Profile metadata" settings, ensure you use the proper format as pictured. @aproposnix @pixelfed On Mastodon, go on Setting/Preferences > Profile > Appearance Scroll down and you will see "Profile metadata", similar to this screenshot. Make sure the link you added is identical to Dan's second image which tells you the right way to do it @matthewas @pixelfed the thing is, I have always had my pixelfed profile link in my mastodon profile. I have also changed my Pixelfed hompage URL to my mastodon account. Is there anything else I need to do? I've noticed nothing. :/ @aproposnix Try removing your pixelfed link from your mastodon account and re-add it. That should force mastodon to re-check.

Apologies, we missed an important step! You need to add your Mastodon profile (ie: https://example.org/@username) to your Pixelfed "Website" profile field!   Could we split this up into separate fields? I have a separate website that I want to keep in this field. Can we add a Mastodon field for the url instead? |
