One of the main reasons I like drawing comics is to draw expressions, especially extremes... like someone being very sad/happy/afraid, or mixed emotions, like a character being angry, but in a sad way.

It feels really nice when I can capture that feeling right =^__^= (I don't always get it).

part of a comic page showing Yegon (on fire?) holding a frightened Kaddali's hands and yelling "You don't know shit".
In the other frame, Kaddali is panicking, eyes wide, shaking their hands which are on fire, saying: "Ah! I'm on fire!"

I'm never sure what the best words for sound effects are in comics. I honestly don't care for "pow" for a punch. I'm probably the only one who thinks PAF! is appropriate, but I'm sticking with it XD.... 'paf' might be a french thing.
In any case, its got a lot of 'oomph' to it.

kaddali getting punched in the face with the word "PAF" written in big bold letters.

@rek I love PAF as well, it reminds me of Astérix or other classic BD franco-belges.

@rek for me, a punch sound is represented as "hhatirsh" but only when spoken and not written hahaha. It's like a movie punch sound effect if you were trying to make that with your mouth. Can't be described in letters really XD
