@atomicpoet i agree, and deleted twitter a couple of months ago.

I used twitter for two reasons:
1) professional seo chat - which has almost 100% moved over to mastadon
2) political news, which was getting so partizan/polarised/culty that it was basically as pointless for news and current events as reading the beano. This news is available and infinitely better on mastadon - but tends to be US/world based and not much UK based
