But while Meta followed a mostly public process, YouTube hid from questions, and ultimately said almost nothing about its decision-making process. @caseynewton youtube has been exceptionally bad about its right wing algo bias. I think the residual of Googles reputation from the do no evil era kinda shielded them from a lot of scrutiny the others got. But now that Googles main site is also a steaming pile of reactionary horse shit disguised as ads, I'm wondering exactly how deep the rot goes.

@youfoundryan @caseynewton all that will create are policies like the following. We reserve the right to ban anyone at anytime for any reason. Just like a grocery store has the same right. I don't know how you could legislate this thing without running a foul of constitutional protections. Like the right of free association.
