Good to see media attention about Mastodon’s 10 million accounts!

This was a nice article by @therealjimlove.

But to me, the bigger news is that IT World Canada runs their own Mastodon server at technews.social. Good to see tech media paving the way with best practices!

@atomicpoet@mastodon.socialt be fair. Many people created Mastodon accounts, hoping to get the Twitter experience without Musk. Having realized it was something different, they left. So many Mastodon accounts which have been created recently are inactive and basically abandoned. Let’s look at the MAU instead
