Itโs worth pointing out that the Fediverse, itself, reached 10 million accounts long, long ago. At least, according to the-federation.info. As well, whatโs provided by @mastodonusercount is just one count of many. Nevertheless, Iโm celebrating this because it is one count that I track, and it updates hourly. ๐พ  @atomicpoet @mastodonusercount according to the site you link to, that's 11 million users - so not really that long ago, if that means Mastodon is 10/11 of the Fediverse and growing much faster than all other bits... but also depends on if you can extricate real human users from bots, which are definitely in greater numbers on Mastodon and a big part of the recent growth.   @atomicpoet Why, if this rate of exponential growth continues some day soon there will be more mastodon accounts than there are people on earth! @atomicpoet :sidekiq: :sidekiq: :sidekiq: :pensive_party_blob: :pensive_party_blob: :pensive_party_blob: @atomicpoet @atomicpoet Here are just 6.8 millions measured. @marix1 I donโt trust fediverse.observer because they get so many counts wrong.
