Weeks ago, I said that LinkedIn would become a factory of AI-driven bullshit.
And now it looks like LinkedIn, themselves, want in on that factory of AI-driven bullshit!
ChatGPT is being integrated into LinkedIn!

@atomicpoet I'm not always in sync with you man, but today I wrote on a fairly influential page in Brazil that "from every angle, ChatGPT was illegal" because it's essentially stolen data. The massive scale couldn't be achieved by any other means than violating data protections and copyright. I think most people who defend AI are on the side of moderation, and you can't really argue without having access to their world... @atomicpoet resumes generated by AI, evaluated by AI hiring proxies. AI does the work, AI grades the work. openai gets a shitload of money, tech jobs evaporate :D @atomicpoet LinkedIn is owned by Microsoft, who got rid of their AI ethics team recently. Presumably because they kept saying problematic things like “This is bad, we should not do this.” @atomicpoet great, can't wait for the faux-inspirational "I hired a candidate with a minor shortcoming" posts to come at an even faster rate now. |
It's going to happen on Mastodon as well. Nobody can escape AI-generated content. It is estimated that 90% of all web content will be AI-generated by 2025. We are on track towards that.
