@atomicpoet @torvalds @fediversenews Shouldn’t that be Linus Thorvalds? I get the confusion, since one was named after its maker 😉😇 @atomicpoet “low resource consumption” That’s appealing. I’d like public transit and airports to run accounts which post status updates. Passengers could look up the status with accounts dedicated to numbered routes/flights. Plemora could be just right for that. @atomicpoet @torvalds @fediversenews I noticed the use of Akkoma also. Except it’s not just Linus. The instance appears to be a Linux kernel instance more or less exclusive to kernel maintainers. To my naive eyes, I’d be lying if this doesn’t increase Akkoma’s reputation. It’d be interesting to hear their reasoning behind the choice. |
