Found ourselves a truck mount fire extinguisher bracket to hold the carbonated water keg under the sink. It's padded and everything.

Escaped the hegemony of the Sodastream proprietary fittings. ✊

@neauoire do you keep the keg in a fridge? I have no idea what your food storage situation must look like

Devine Lu Linvega

@pixls we don't use any form of refrigeration, it's why we like fizzy water, it makes water tank water "feel" colder.

@neauoire oooh wow, i guess that's an extra good reason to get into fermenting things! I've seen people talking online about these kinds of setups saying how refrigeration is a must, but i guess that's probably overstating it

Devine Lu Linvega

@pixls it's definitely not a must, but you've got to learn a couple of tricks to make it work.

@neauoire That would be cool if Partner allowed it and I could figure it out.

@neauoire I got a kegerator a few years back but I just don't drink enough beer to justify it, so I have 5g kegs in it to give us fizzy water... 1 active one carbonating...

@neauoire

ooOooo do you have any more info on this setup? I was literally about to go buy one...

Also, is the pin tamper evident? You should tie it into an alarm :awesome_rotate:

@float13 We'll write about it all soon, we just wanna use it for a while so at least we have some things to say about its shortcomings.
