@atomicpoet @elk @fediversenews You can do that trick with most websites BTW. You can even do it with the #Mastodon web UI. It’s the main way I use mastodon on my laptop.
Mind you: it’s still a web page. You just don’t have all the menus, buttons and toolbars of the browser there.

@atomicpoet @elk @fediversenews It does work well – I have it on my laptop. But I never use it. I'm used to accessing Elk through elk.zone, and I'm not seeing any incentive to change that. Perhaps you can provide one?
