@ivan18rod The issue here isn't that they aren't meaningful; it's that they're too similar.
Yes, their design has a lot of subtle features that make them actually quite clever on their own! But when you're designing a suite of apps, like what Google does, you need to consider how to also make their icons obviously different. If you want a good example of this, look at program suites like Office and notice how they (generally) manage to make their icons noticeably different even at a glance.
