@neauoire Nice. I hate those plastic SodaStream bottles with the bottom always coming unglued. Looked for alternatives (eg glass) but no.

nomand

@neauoire please make a wiki page dedicated to this! We want carbonated water on board as well :)

@neauoire @nomand for now we got this: 100r.co/site/liveaboard.html#c
That's the older setup tho. A bit simpler, but relies on plastic bottles which isnt ideal (the more u do it, the weaker the bottle gets... in our experience, they always get cracks).

@nomand @rek @neauoire that sounds very nifty. I immediately wondered about the feasability of a sturdy sigg aluminum bottle with a plastic screw top I used to have in school

nomand

@rek @neauoire so now you're carrying both a co2 bottle and kegs?

R E K

@nomand @neauoire we have a keg(and connecting bits + regulator) and two small co2 bottles (paintball tanks)

cathos

@neauoire nice! Is that a sankey to ball-lock adapter? What size keg did you go with?

Devine Lu Linvega

@cathos yup! these are hand-me-down beer supplies that our friend gave us, the keg is 11 inches tall.
