@novimatrem after not really exercising for 7 years I recently got back into it and these things helped:

- feeling like I am in a supportive environment when it comes to NOT pushing myself too hard
- relatedly: not pushing myself too hard (I easily get into a "school" mindset like I need to get top marks in exercise or something and that's not helpful and I injure myself)
- having someone I can work out with, even if it's just at a distance, for accountability & encouragement
