That peregrine was flying (with some half-eaten prey in tow, I believe – was too far away to really tell) between different perches in an old quarry a couple minutes out of town (forgot to take a wider shot of it, so, here's an unseasonably-green view from Apple Maps). I think its mate was there, too, but I didn't get to see them. (But I did see an understandably-wary wood pigeon nearby.)
