@davidaugust yes, that's the point. Vim's ui does require some effort to learn but after that it is great. Not everything needs to be so intuitive that explanations are unnecessary. That would be wonderful, but for many systems that's simply not possible. |
@eselet all sort of UIs that are unusable without extensive training exist and even some for good reason. An example: layperson likely should not be able to turn on a nuclear power plant without training and assistance.
