@SeventhMagpie I'm not saying other countries are necessarily better, but this is a really big predilection people in positions of power and privilege have in the United States: they can literally try to murder you and then when you're not grateful for that treatment they act like you committed some kind of grave offense against decorum, all the while trying to gaslight you (in the most incompetent fashion imaginable) into believing they meant you no harm.

@SeventhMagpie @adamasnemesis - What has Mr Putin said about Ukraine? The US is in conflict with Russia because Russia invaded a neighbor for no good reason beyond a land grab. If Putin gets away with it, what’s next? I see no reason to believe Ukraine is the end of his ambitions. I’m sorry you’re suffering. This whole thing is appalling and awful, but much more so for Ukrainians.  @MrShoggoth You are not sorry, you little liar. @adamasnemesis I realise that this speech from Poland was actually for American voters, most of whom have rather vague idea of what's going on. And they might believe this seeming nobleness of: "People of Russia are not our enemy, blah-blah-blah"
Nobody in Russia believes it, of course. When J&J stops supply of female hygiene products and Braun Oral-B stops supply of toothbrushes, it's not about being friends. :) It's not even about Putin. It's about Russians being declared subhuman, that's all
