There’s many news sites doing this, obviously it’s all for SEO clicks because of people searching for Mastodon. They all follow each other to get to the top of Google. MUO is just another in a long list of news sites that publish literally anything they can for a click, it’s crap and only mentioned specifically as it popped up in my feed just now.

@gamingonlinux they don't want people to leave Twitter because that's where they post their shit. they haven't bothered to properly look into Mastodon, don't want to post their stuff here and don't want to lose their audience. it's lazy. go where your audience is if you want to have an audience |
@gamingonlinux Make Use Of is the most useless website ever. I've seen so many articles on there where they just change the publish date to make it look "new". I know they're not the only ones, but it seems to be something they do a lot.
