I'm just curious about why mastodons send a lot of activities about deleted users even though if receiving instance never dealed with these users. 2 comments

Also worth noting that Mastodon has implemented a "shortcut" for them: when receiving such activities, they promptly ignore them (otherwise, they would request public key for this user).
