@Gargron My favourite “We believe that personalized ads and user privacy can coexist.” @gargron @Gargron but wait, I thought the argument was "users *wanted* tracking to get the sweet, sweet targeted, personalized ads"? Doesn't tracking "bring value to the consumer"? Why oh why don't they see that?! :thinksphere: It's nice to see this so-called attention economy in flames, at last. As a user, I generally oppose the very concept of advertising anywhere at all unless that place is directly related to shopping. If I wanted to buy something, I'd go to a mall, thank you very much. |
