Gregory's ServerI’m giving mastodon.social until this weekend to get their house in order before we defederate. We chose not to last year, but the lack of moderation on the “flagship instance” is forcing my hand.

I had to answer the same rumour just 6 days ago: https://mastodon.social/@Gargron/106500798158972761 The post by Elizafox cites one account that was suspended on the same day, 3 hours later than the post was made, and somehow this is "mastodon.social is unmoderated"? That is a rhetorical question, do not respond.

@thegibson Lack of maintenance? What am I, Tom Cruise in Minority Report, supposed to predict devops issues before they occur? If you have specific issues with specific accounts, you could track the resolution of those accounts. If you want to base your decision around hearsay that does not affect your server, be my guest but don't give me indirect ultimatums. |
