The 'remote share/reblog notifications' thing definitely seems fixed, although shortly after I posted some photos my single-person instance managed to get itself stuck on *all* web-serving stuff, not just Pixelfed - restarting Apache appears to have fixed it.

(Restarting the web server after a significant Pixelfed update might be a required thing regardless - I may have just independently discovered this...)
