Do you know how the Ubuntu Terminal app is really smart about what text to select when you double-click? Is there a way to get that behaviour on #MacOS?

@Keltounet @Gargron Another vote for iTerm2. You can customize quad-clicks and double / triple clicks seem to be pretty close to what I’m used to from X11 terminals. @Gargron Fortunately for all of us, you said macOS instead of "a Mac" so I can't do my smartass reply.

Mac terminal simply selects the "word" on which you double click, exactly the same as regular native text fields do. Eugen, ah I misread your question. No idea what the ubuntu terminal is like, but the default mac terminal is generally barebones. Some people prefer iTerm instead. |
@Gargron have you tried iTerm?
