Happy launch day.  @ivory after testing it and reading a couple of reviews, I’ve two questions: 1) Why did you implement your own sync feature instead of using Mastodon API https://docs.joinmastodon.org/methods/markers/ ? 2) Why, again, did you implement your own in app filters, instead of supporting the Mastodon native ones? I was a mostly happy Tweetbot subscriber, but the artificial disconnect between your iOS and macOS apps is getting frustrating. @ivory Happy to subscribe and try out Ivory finally! Let’s see where Mastodon goes from here. @ivory I’m testing out the app because I really liked Tweetbot, but I think the pricing is steep for what you current get. I’m not seeing a real value proposition when compared to the normal app. |
