I sure do LOVE being locked out of a game thanks to Denuvo Anti-Tamper, said no one ever. I really dislike Denuvo.

It makes testing with different Proton versions and moving between PC -> Steam Deck quite a big nuisance.

@gamingonlinux Denuvo is a pain in the rear even for purely windows users... it locks you to 4 installs, performance hit is noticeable and its a kernel level drm which makes you open external attacks using this vector

There are several games I flat out refuse to buy becouse of Denovu specifically, It is anti consumer and really makes the experiance better for people who pirate it than for people who actually pay money for it

@gamingonlinux: I've refused on principle to buy, install or receive for free any game with Denuvo on it until such time as it is removed. I've missed out on a few games I'd like to play, but I got burnt before by SecuROM and Denuvo's a lineal descendant of that.
