Haven’t seen those in England, but have visited in Vancouver Island and the California Coast. The photos also remind me of some of the shrines and gardens around Kyoto, full of gnarled trees and verdant moss.

I've been to the gardens around Kyoto in my former life. They're absolutely stunning. And I've always wanted to visit Vancouver Island - I made it as far as Vancouver, but didn't go further than that sadly. One day!
