Since Twitter isn’t allowing third party apps, some persons asked me about mastodon and they get confused on the server part, I’m using a friend server (that’s on his living room or office) and cannot recommend it because isn’t open to the public.

Would be nice having some suggestions servers for new users 😉

@ivory since you guys will charge for ivory (not even my watch works for free), how about having tiers?

A basic for users how already have a account and maybe a “enthusiast” that aggregate value by allowing to have a account on a tapbots server?

Maybe having a user.tapbots.social for paid customers and staff.tapbots.social for staff? 🤷🏻‍♂️

But a big user base probably would be inconvenient to moderate and having a bigger server bills because all the midia upload and incoming from another instances 😞

P.s.: could be possible to reduce this price for Brazil?
I pay R$ 25 per year on Tweetbot and is ok, but R$ 70/year is a little too much.

I know that R$ 70 BRL is just $13 but BRL lost too much value on recent years, used to be 1 USD = 2 BRL, now is 1 USD = 5 BRL and that’s make a huge difference 🥺
