@ivory I was happy to try and also give it a few days to adjust to so I appreciate what you were trying to do.
However, if you hit sections of your timeline or in this example viewing the shorter replies to your post, it imho looks messy and cluttered, take your eyes back and you are mainly looking at a screen full of repetitive icons overpowering the actual content.
Useful to try but old way for me thank you.

@ivory after seeing @pauls post. I do agree. I like them hidden, or at least an option to hide them. 🙂 I did switch to small to help a little.

@ivory I did try that initially and they look weird shrunk down - I figured that if I have to try and get used to it I may as well go big or go home 😂
