Gregory's Server@Gargron I wish you wisdom. I do personally not miss the functionality and am, after eight weeks of tooting, quite convinced that your arguments for not implementing it are as valid now as they were then and increase the value of the platform. Just my two cents, mind.

 @aafkepostma @Gargron Also, in those moments when I find myself missing it, I stop to wonder why this is. Not rarely it turns out to be a reflex to engage in the toxic behavior that we had all come to find all too normal back on the other side. I'm realizing ever more that that's part of the reason I moved here, even though I did not know it at the time. |
@Eetschrijver @Gargron Agree with GJ! I might miss it sometimes but just boosting or a (nice) reply will work too. A third option is like we did in the early Tw days: use RT followed by the username and the original text from the post.
