But it's a recognizable virus nonetheless. @bruces I've had a similar saying for years: "What doesn't kill you weakens & debilitates you for the rest of your life." @bruces Actually if it’s well-adapted, it doesn’t kill you at all but simply makes you symptomatic enough to spread it around to more hosts. @jerrymacgp Once you've already spread it though, there's no evolutionary disadvantage to killing you.  |
