@angristan You have an announcements feature now, plus you either already show up at the top of the suggestions or you can just make sure you do with the admin setting.  @Gargron I have the feeling this is the #mainstreaming thus likely the wrong way to do this would suggest to use #hashtags for this users get #hashtags on account creation, instances get #hashtags on there subjects and the is the post #hashtags - mash these to gathering in a creative way and you have a non #mainstreaming bootm up syteam. my view for what its worth :)  This is great, thank you! 🙏 This is why I originally started FediFollows, to make up for the lack of follow suggestions for new members. Obviously I will continue with FediFollows (partly because Fediverse is more than just Mastodon!), but very glad to hear that there are going to be onboarding suggestions on the most widely used platform software. @Gargron Hi! Does this other recent change (and the related tip) only applies to mastodon.social / mastodon.online, or to all instances? |
