@rodhilton Thanks for putting it perspective.

He talked about electric cars and clearly didn't understand much of what he was saying, but I was already into electric vehicles well before he bought Tesla and pushed its founders out, so that was obvious...

He talked about rockets and that too was an area I understand wel enough to know that none of those 'innovations' was new, nor was he capable of implementing them for not being an engineer himself.

@rodhilton Then I read about his friends and it all made sense. He belongs to a clique tech billionaires who have deep pockets, no morals, and a pretty awful understanding of technology unless they're using it to harm others.

Even then their understanding is elementary at best and tends to be informed by the employees they hire and then fire after harassing and bribing them into silence.

Then Elon opened his mouth talking cryptocurrency and removed all doubt as they say by talking nonsense.

@rodhilton It may have been well over a year before he even bought a board seat after that, much less made a tender off, much less fought a pointlessly inevitable court battle, much less etc.

You just had to be paying attention to him and his nonsense and not one of his cultists to see it. COVID unmasked his fascism as it did for many people and even then people ignored how toxic he has always been. Even now, people on here don't get it.

@MariNemo @rodhilton
COVID gave me OP's experience but with biomedical research. When Musk started posting about hydroxychloroquine and I looked at the data and was like, that's not how you do medicine

@p___x @rodhilton Elon Musk is a polymath, but in the fields of total nonsense BS.

He's a salesman who will pull anything out of his behind for the sake of profit, but he doesn't know anything besides that.
