@Gargron Eugene, you need to add a news aggregation service to Mastadon similar to Apple News. Make it a paid for extra and provide payment back to news companies. It would be a winner for news services and encourage them to join Mastadon. It would also help you attract a larger user base, make money, and challenge Twitter. Apple News is useful but it lacks interaction. Do a deal with them.
