 @tomw Most news sites also still have RSS feeds. It’s pretty rare to find one that doesn’t. And NetNewsWire happily works with Twitter and now Mastodon. So that’s all good. I just find it a bit baffling more folks don’t go for it. Never miss headlines from sources you love! No ads! Streamlined distraction-free views. Lovely. |
@craiggrannell At this point I feel like #wordpress is keeping RSS alive almost single-handedly – luckily though that's a third of the web covered! I'm not sure client-side readers will get out of a small niche again but it's still very useful server side for, well, simple syndication across sites
