Here is an incomplete list of journalists that Elon Musk has suspended from Twitter today.

He also suspended the Twitter account of Mastodon.

It's Going Down
Aaron Rupar
Donie O’Sullivan (CNN)
Drew Harwell (Washington Post)
Ryan Mac (NY Times)
Matt Binder (Mashable)
Tony Webster (award winning freelancer)
Micah Lee (the Intercept)
Keith Olbermann
Steve Herman

Elon Musk bought Twitter in order to suppress free speech and consolidate control of the spaces in which public discourse takes place, as a means to advance his authoritarian quest for profit and power. It's necessary to oppose him the way we would fight against any aspiring tyrant, any oppressor.

@CrimethInc
It also looks like Twitter is now flagging links to mastodon user accounts as malicious.

@CrimethInc Hey, you botched that link to crimethinc.com. 👋

Caitlin Howard

@CrimethInc With social media like Mastodon and Post, etc they could use this moment to further pitch to these media markets. The EU is already having problems with Musk and safety issues. They need to pitch to their advertisers and be prepared to expand.

@CrimethInc
ehrlich gesagt interessieren mich die Daten von #Musk s Flieger so gar nicht - aber dem Account @elonjet muss ich jetzt aus Prinzip folgen!

@CrimethInc Elon Musk lost $107 billion last year. In other words, he is destroying his own business empire. The best thing that people can do, is to stop using Twitter, and stop buying Tesla's.

@CrimethInc The Twitter flight data ban personally installed by Elon after a suspected-fake incident, (and written by a non-Attorney if you haven’t yet), is tacitly helpful to Putin in the Ukraine conflict, which just ramped up Kviv attacks hours later.
