@brando While some user might not have concerns about their privacy, some do. So offering a way to create an account without having to rely on big tech companies is important.
Also, I'm not sure how much simpler it would make it. You would still need to enter your Google/Apple password, accept the request for permission, etc. I guess you would only skip the email confirmation step.
@narF no, you don’t need to sign in with any password. At least not for apple. And I only meant it as an optional way to sign up, not to remove the option of creating a password.
