It might be worth mentioning that the local/federated TLs aren't an "alternative app" thing, they're a built-in thing – the web UI has 'em, too – that the "official" app deliberately removes.

@EposVox Also, boosts don't make things show up in local/federated. It just shows up on your followers' home TLs.
