(Although billionaire man-babies could be contributing to creating orange guys.) @longobord @georgetakei the latter long game is what I’m musing about. Billionaires have funneled a lot into the post Reagan GOP with very specific intent. @hacks4pancakes @georgetakei True... but those are arguably less man-babies than connivers. @longobord @georgetakei a very fair point, if any of them ever actually get to develop into full adults in their sheltered worlds. I'd say in general that any concentration of power into a single clique, whether fascist, king, oligarch or planned economy will always inevitably lead to evil. The only goal should be to limit the amount of power available to any small group of entities. Unless that group happens to be super-intelligent spaceships with whimsical names, which I would be fully okay with. |
