@timsmalley @rbeagrie very beautiful photos. Putting nature first is a tricky principle for artists & photographers. We want to record these places, but when we show our work, it encourages others to visit. SSSI on Dartmoor are a case in point. It’s sad, but I see no alternative than to not visit or share images. Keeping quiet for nature.
@devonlass it's always a predicament. I tend to be happy to disclose locations that are vast and can take a large increase in footfall, that could come from posting online. That said, I never like to reveal an exact location/coordinate for a particular photo. For smaller locations, I prefer to not give a location, but I am happy to reference a general area.
A part of the fun of photography for me is discovery. Finding places that have potential, and then turning that potential into photos.
