@wennberg @leo Gargron has ENOUGH money and frankly, look at Masto 4; he doesn't really have the best interests of everyone else in mind.
(Masto 4 is 1% cool stuff – post editing UI, while the ability to see edited posts was there for a while – and 99% crap that other admins are scrambling to find patches to revert.)

– burying canonical post links and introducing these weird captive links instead that redirect through your server even if the post is on a different instance (useless for sharing the post)
– utterly trashing the landing page
