@Gargron To be honest, they are all doing market manipulation by the legal definition. This is a classic pump and dump scheme, not some way to reclaim finance for the poor. Robinhood, is likely covering their own ass here and probably it will come out that they have some vested interest in Gamestop shorts. At the end of the day, most wall street fortunes are made by some sort of price manipulation. This is no different than when Warren Buffet buys something so everybody else does too. |
one thing I would sincerely like to understand, via @Gargron or anybody else, is if/how likely it is that the Robinhood guys eventually lose all their money, simply because they have fighting people with much, much larger pockets, who can afford to lose more to crush attacks
